Welcome to the Hughes Web Site (well this branch of the family anyway) on behalf of all four of us Howard (Dad), Adele (Mum), Thomas and Catherine. We hope you will browse around our site and find some of what we do interesting. We live in the North of England and spend a fair amount of our time in Wales where we disappear especially during the summer. We have inevitably visited most of the Castles of North Wales and got the souvenirs to prove it! When not looking at castles the great interest is genealogy (Tracing the Family tree, See Howards Page) A great deal of time has been spent visiting many Counties of the UK and Ireland. I have collected together a large amount of information particularly of the families of Cheshire & Devon. Our family also consists of a rabbit called Patch and hamster named Snowdrift. You will see more about them on the pet's page. We also have a fair selection of fish both tropical (in the house in our climate) and cold water in a pond in the garden.
